| AIR CRE>Next: Class of 2024
I entered the service of the United States Navy as many in my family had done before, and my aptitude granted me the incredible opportunity to join a brotherhood of engineers who tirelessly dedicate their lives in the service of the Navy's Nuclear Reactor and Propulsion systems. This opportunity to be among the brightest individuals in the country to study within one of the hardest institutions of learning that the United States Armed Forces has to offer gave me an even deeper sense of pride knowing that I would be moving mechanical mountains across the seven seas delivering payloads of freedom wherever we went.
I spent 6 years enveloped in the Nuclear Navy, molding me into a tireless machine of willpower, dedication, and unrelenting force dedicated to the operation and preservation of the two nuclear reactors housed within each of the Navy's 11 supercarriers. During my time serving, I saw places I had never dreamed of and gained an appreciation for knowledge and hard work that have pushed me to find a path forward no matter how difficult or impossible it seemed to reach the end.
After my time in the service, I found myself in a new stage of my life in which I am finally free to explore my passion with real estate. With that opportunity now available to me as a commercial real estate broker, I found an occupation I have been searching for since my grandfather first gifted me those building blocks. Being a broker allowed me to be a part of the transactions that keep a city running every day by matching buyers and sellers, or tenants and owners, to each other in a way that creates production and revenue.
My particularly favorite part of this occupation is the challenges that suddenly come that require creatively putting pieces to a puzzle together when only the result is clear. It was something I’ve realized is something I have been familiar with my entire life, whether it be building mock cities or making a reactor hum to life. In all of this, I found an end goal in being as capable and knowledgeable as a broker as I could possibly be to make these puzzle pieces fit together most efficiently, and I believe that the AIRCRE Next program is an incredible opportunity to help me reach that goal. |
